I just had the worst experience @AmericanAir at Miami Int’l Airport. Sylvia working at the bag drop off counter was not only rude, but she didn’t check my ID to verify my boarding pass with my name/ photo. She said they only check ID for international flights.
The past 4 years have been a journey shaped by your voices—your calls at midnight, your concerns, your hopes. I’ve listened and learned from each of you, and it’s been an honor to serve this incredible community. Now, we look forward to 4 more years of progress together!
I’ve outlined my vision on key issues affecting our community. I invite you to read my responses and see my commitment to making a positive impact in Miami Gardens. Remember to vote for me, Linda Julien, by punching #146 to re-elect me to Miami Gardens City Council Seat 5.
@MiamiDolphins This is the reality of being black in America especially for black males! Thank Goodness this situation ended with Hill still having his life. History continues to repeat itself. What if he wasn’t Tyreke Hill?
ALERT 🚨: We want to remind motorists that if you illegally pass a stopped Miami-Dade County school bus with flashing lights and an extended stop arm, you will receive a citation of $225. Since the start of the 2024/2025 school year, there have been approximately 11,500 school bus violations. This equates to an average of around 1,600 violations per school day. Let’s work together to keep our children safe.
Ruth's List is proud to endorse @LindaJJulien in her re-election to the Miami Gardens City Council! We were proud to honor Councilwoman Julien with our 2024 Carrie Meek Award at our Annual Conference & Gala this year. (1/3)
@LindaJJulien The Carrie Meek Award, named in honor of the first African American elected to represent Florida in Congress since the Reconstruction era, recognizes trailblazers in the fight for women’s reproductive rights, women’s empowerment, and equality in Florida. (2/3)
My thoughts and prayers are with our neighbors in the Caribbean who have been affected by the devastation caused by #Beryl in Grenada, Jamaica, and other islands. As a community, Miami Gardens stands ready to support and assist those impacted by this storm.
