So much talk about the problems in the church, but the bottom line: For prayer traditional devotions. For worship traditional liturgy. For doctrine the Catechism. For example the saints. For sanctification valid sacraments. All of this is available with the Catholic Church for ordinary people.
@QueenMother1976@NYCatholicRadio It’s no longer about patient care or service. We are treated like cattle. Hard to even speak to the doctor -especially sad for older people who don’t have someone who loves them advocating and helping them
I’ve lost a lot of followers over my comments on the SSPX so I want to say something
You are not going underground to preserve tradition like the early church
They were running from pagan rulers, not from the magisterium, the pope, and the missal.
Do not risk your soul by dying outside the church. Be a traditional Catholic and with filial obedience repent and come home to your church.
“That they all may be one, as thou, Father, in me, and I in thee; that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou hast given me, I have given to them:
That, they may be one, as we also are one.” (Jn 17:21-22)
The Catholic Church is universal and therefore never so narrow as to please any person 100% all of the time. However, the closer we adhere to the catechism for doctrine, the saints for example, traditional devotions for our prayers and traditional liturgy for worship, the more the Catholic Church will be the ark we need to weather the storm and bring us safely home.
“Where Peter is, there is the Church [Ubi Petrus, ibi Ecclesia]. And where the Church, no death is there, but life eternal.”
St. Ambrose of Milan (c. 339–397), Expositio in Psalmum XL
