My mother gave birth to me on the 16th of June 1990 but I celebrate my birthday the day after as reflected in my ID. Another year around the sun, ilanga elihle☀️I spent my youth attending branch meetings, building a database of young people all over Kathorus but my calling has always been in business. Usomandla has preserved my life thus far so I can fulfil my purpose. Amandla awethu, long live umhlonishwa I see you in my dreams🗞️
Umnotho wesizwe udlula la. Using our intellectual property, our minds and energy to contribute to South Africa’s economy. Safundiswa ukusebenza ngokuzikhandla. African pride, ziqhenye🚂
Ezamzukwana( back in the days) This image means a great deal to me. A significant moment in my life of when I first started writing music for brand campaigns. It is a great reminder of how far I have come and where I am going. I started my journey with nothing and built my career through cold calling. I would go to the public phones (“not sure if those are still around”) and call prospects to pitch our services. At the time public phones were cheaper than using your own airtime so that worked pretty well for me. This journey has shaped my life and purpose which is to inspire others to use the little that they have to start, to use music and sound as a way of looking beyond the challenges of where we come from because I believe that the most powerful thing that you can do for someone is show them that it’s possible.
What’s behind us made us strong. What’s ahead will show how far we can still go This next chapter is all about growth , legacy , and building a new generation 🔥#ibelieve#oskido
5 years ago I wrote an article for the business community about how innovation and collaboration will shape a more sustainable future for musicians. These are insights and strategies I have applied over time and currently use in the year 2026. Our approach for the future is more aggressive in applying methods that enable us to dominate South Africa and international markets in the world of licensing images, music and footage.
The legendary Lady Smith Black Mambazo. A group that has had major influence in my love and appreciation for African compositions. Myself and Baba Shabalala who now sings for this mighty group used to spend our time talking about the arts after late night drama rehearsals walking the hill from Pinetown Boy”s High to Cowies Hill. African Pride, ziqhenye🎵
“My face never ages, I must be in Gods good graces”🙏🏽 Great body of work by Drake, this material means a lot for music entrepreneurs who are fighting the good fight. Investing their own money for legal fees, back and forth emails to global collecting societies. Here in South Africa🇿🇦we take advantage of the currency only way we can increase the revenue, not afraid of the man in the suit and tie so we do our own publishing. The music is more meaningful when the business is done right.
African magic⭐️Representation matters. Affirmations in our indigenous languages to help our kids grow up with self belief and determination. African pride, ziqhenye. Africa is the commodity of the world. Our pride, tradition, history and culture can shape the world. I have had the privilege of working at the largest African marketing agency in our country and have seen the value our culture offers to the world economically and spiritually when done the right way. This culture has changed my life for the better. African pride, ziqhenye🗞️
uVusa isizwe, money, knowledge and power. We still drinking Jacob’s tea, ihamba ngomoya, it can never be beaten in the physical, if you know you know. Still a secret they don’t understand, only the few know.
Kufeziwe namhlanje as His Excellency President Jacob Zuma officially cut the ribbon and handed over the house to its new owners.
The SG of the MK Party reaffirmed to the world that all you need is willpower you do not have to be in government to change people’s lives.
His Majesty King Mswati III has officially opened the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Ezulwini, marking the occasion with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting.
Last night tings, we went to see the biopic of the greatest of all time, Michael Jackson. I enjoyed every minute of it. I love how the movie only focused on the music. What a phenomenal artist🎞️
