Well, now seems like a good time to share that I’m getting married! We just put down the deposit on the venue and bought my dress lol
I didn’t end up picking this one but I thought it looked nice
I hate to admit this but Trump was right.
He said that if I vote for Kamala Harris gas prices, groceries prices and my utility bills will go through the roof.
I voted for Harris and my gas, groceries and utility bills have gone through the roof.
I just want to point out....
The amount of money the United States has spent on war in the last 67 days, is roughly the same cost that Bernie Sanders proposed for universal college. So the real question is never can we afford it, it's what we choose to prioritize.
Billionaires don’t have bank accounts like you and me. They have art collections,Yachts,Mansions,Stocks. None of it gets taxed until they sell it. So they just never sell it. They borrow against it instead. Live off the loans. Pay almost nothing. Then when they die, their kids inherit it all tax-free. The wealth never gets taxed, It just gets passed down.
And we wonder why the gap keeps getting wider.
@BILLS0505@electionsjoe you admit Republicans also overspend? why is it okay for Republicans to overspend on war, tax cuts for billionaires, and other things that don’t truly impact everyday Americans but Dems are idiots for reducing healthcare expenses, infrastructure upgrades, and childcare credits?
> Oracle is worth $400 billion
> Its founder is the third richest man on the planet
> Oracle reported a 22% revenue gain this quarter
Still they fired 30,000 employees over email to fund AI Data centers. You don't hate billionaires enough.
@electionsjoe That’s why Biden isn’t completely beating Trump in this poll 90% to 10%. Infrastructure is great but it didn’t put money in the pockets of Americans instantly. Dems do a better job with the economy but think longterm gains instead of instant money injection for average Americans
@electionsjoe Yes. Until we get a government that is willing to tax the rich to provide meaningful support to average Americans (healthcare, housing, education, childcare, etc.), then daily expenses are going to continue to be unaffordable for people. Creating the perception of a bad economy.
