💙 London D1 Banners - the story behind the traditional artwork 💙

The entire banner design for D1 was handmade artwork, all related to BTS. Here are the details:

The blue flowers & slogan background:
BTS’ birthflower cyanotypes, sunprinted on my balcony

The first logo circle:
Mandala design, which I based on the floral relief from the bell of King Seongdeok from No29. Changed lotus seeds from 9 to 7 to represent the members

The second & third logo circles:
Pencil drawings of BTS’ eyes in fanchant order

I then scanned all of the separate pieces & sent them over to @SugaDumpling613 who designed the final positioning of the graphics.

I personally spent 70+ hours across all these pieces, because we wanted to create a banner that would show BTS that ARMY puts the same amount of love & effort into them as they put into us.

Thank you all at London D1 who held up the banner and became part of this story. I’m incredibly grateful to all of you 💙
