But vaccines aren't the only tool we have (masks, tests, ventilation etc)

@jessicabankey @TessKarreMD It’s still the Abbott Binax Now test, just available off the shelf for people to buy to use at home.

No requirement for a proctor to perform the test for the waived test you buy at Walgreens etc. There is almost certainly under reporting going on, as unless symptoms worsen and patients present to a clinic/hospital an official result may not be recorded.

@jakescottMD @KatherineJWu 🙋🏻‍♀️ My unvaccinated children got sent home from daycare due to a positive case and had to quarantine. One week later my (17mo) son showed symptoms and tested positive, 3 days later so did I. But aside from feeling really rough for a few days, and no sense of smell I am doing ok.

@CRBerginMD For us it took five days. Five days for my (17mo) son to be exposed at daycare and bring it home while everyone was quarantined. I’m double vaccinated yet still caught it off him and am currently having constantly evolving and resolving symptoms. #maskup #vaxup
