It was election day in Mrs. Wright’s class! We read Duck for President yesterday , and today we voted on who we thought would be the best president! We even got “I Voted” stickers! Tomorrow we will count the votes and see who won!
Today was good for my heart! While I was at a training today, the lady who helped my class wrote a message on our blackboard, one of my babies’ pictures was included in the PowerPoint for my training, and when checking out this afternoon, one of my kiddos said, “Bye, Bestie!”.
We had a fun day in Mrs. Wright’s class! We read The Art Lesson by Tomie DePaola and used paint to reinforce some of our core vocabulary words. For science, we read The Tiny Seed with some sensory surprises!

I have been so spoiled this week for Teacher Appreciation Week! My students brought me so many sweet notes and happies, and my administration went above and beyond! I am so thankful!
I love my church! They gave all the teachers in DeSoto County a devotional book and a $50 Target gift card! Thank you, @compelchurch @desotocountydreamcenter!
Proud teacher moment: So far all of my students have increased their score on their i-Ready Reading screeners from when they took it in January! So proud and hope to keep the momentum going!#TeamDCS
For Teacher Appreciation week, THANK YOU to the teachers who poured their time and energy into me! You saw me as more than a test score, and you inspired me to go into this profession! Also, thank you to my coworkers who are always there with a kind word and helping hand! ❤️
