@miss_padfield @MsDowdSci @adamboxer1@Hookean1@edmunds_dr @STEMyBanda @Newmanphysics@ChatPhysics I had that role at one point. It was only for a while as we had a head of KS3 and 4 and they wanted an extra. By appointing me they then had a biologist, chemist and physicists and we change to that system at the end of the year.
It was interesting though and could work.
@MissHudsonHist@MissMNeary Can you still annotate over your power point when you share like this? I always share as a “window” option because then I can annotate.
@Lindseysg @pixlscience You don’t need to ‘step up’ you need to make the right choices and take calculated risks for your students. You will be an amazing HOD if that is at the heart of every decision 🙌🏼
Been reminded in the last couple of weeks that as a new head of Science I need to “step up”. Thank you #PiXLScience for giving me deliberate, courageous and engagement as my key mantras! Great timing.
I found teachers quite hesitant to start but after a term my class were pulling ahead so everyone else got on board and now we have scheduled interruptions with homework’s. https://t.co/vkAAgm4nJy
Very interested in exploring the ‘interruptions’ idea throughout the key stage 3 and 4 science curriculum for key conceptions at gcse presented by Clare Buffham #PiXLScience
The Tassomai team are at the #PiXLscience meeting today. Come and say hello if you’re attending and want to ask us any questions or you’re interested in a quick demo.
