@CynicalPublius He also has the ability to vote no on any spending bill he feels he doesn’t have the appropriate time to vet. He’s certainly shown he’ll vote no on ANYTHING not meeting his personal standard.
@MostlyPeaceful There will always be a “rule” or “Act” or “verbiage” in any piece of legislation that he’ll be able to point to and say, “see this right here is why I voted no” he knows full well he can locate a tiny piece of legislation in any bill to keep his Schlick going.
@CynicalPublius Somewhere, libertarians are twisting themselves into pretzels trying to explain how this “no” vote by masshole, is actually the correct vote.
@Pro__Trading I personally think there are plenty. But at what cost? Likely holding up the speakership for weeks and likely stalling Trumps agenda will come with a huge political cost. I think to many people are paying attention to be playing those kind of games now.
@Pro__Trading Trump is eventually going to have to put the fire out. It is not going to go over well. But there can only be one boss. The longer he waits people will shift their ire towards him!
@unseen1_unseen Time is everything. If the establishment machine is able to jamb Trump, and his agenda up, they’ll grow stronger. Way I see it, Trump has to accomplish much of what he wants within the first two years. He essentially doesn’t have 4 years to govern. This is a sprint.
@sethjlevy Some will have to. D.C. is under a huge microscope now. The days of hard no’s are over for some. They will have to adapt, or be weeded out and replaced. X makes it almost impossible to hide now.
@unseen1_unseen Totally fine with anyone having issues with him. But to spout out to your thousands or millions of followers like some are doing is foolish at this stage.
