We are in need of assistance with an elderly Veteran (77) and his wife. She is almost bed ridden and he will be shortly. Their house is not handicap ready. She's in a wheelchair and he has a walker. Anyone know a program that can help alter doorways and make a den accessible?

On Monday, we had a successful deployment to assist officers with a Veteran in a mental health crisis. Due to proper assessment by the responding officers to the crisis, the Veteran was given the chance to talk to our team. The Veteran's in good health and wants to live life.

We met a Veteran who told her the one thing he needed health wise he couldn't receive because he wasn't 100% disabled. The issue was on dental care. He expressed frustration on this. Does anyone have information about Veteran dental services or nonprofits in Central Texas?

Our program is called by our local police when an officer responds to a call for a Veteran in crisis. We go to provide immediate counseling to the Veteran. We then offer free counseling to the Veteran & their family. Donations help continue our mission
