@baxter_intl need a little help! A family with TBI in NC is in need of a Progressa bed. One was ordered from @HillromCorp last week, this week they’re told @baxter_intl won’t sell one. He will be institutionalized without the right bed. 6’4”,wound risk,feeding tube,loves his Mom.

A mom in NC has been in need of, and fighting for, a Hill Rom Progressa bed for her son with TBI. She secured funding, the bed was ordered only to be told Baxter is not interested in home care. This bed is the only thing which allows her 6’4” son to live at home.

Please put State CFAC Traumatic Brain Injury representation seats into the proposed changes in HB734. These seats are also needed in Local CFACs. Don’t exclude and silence those with brain injury from advising MCOs, DHHS, and NCLeg.

@BlueCrossNC there must be a better way. Check for DME provider made out to “the estate of...” We can’t deposit it to pay provider. Told to go to county issuing death certificate. Hire att’y. Get tax ID. Probate. Estate account. Will you PLEASE pay the provider directly?
