My family surname was first recorded in the late 1100’s when the wealthy started using them.
My Great Grandfather fought in WW1.
My Grandfather was a pilot in WW2, he lost his 3 brothers in the war, I never knew them.
My Great Grandmother never recovered from the loss.
My Father was a pilot in the RAF for 20 years.
My mother was in the WRAF until she was pregnant with me.
My husband’s recent family history is similar to mine but has Scottish on his Mothers side.
We are not the face of Modern Britain to @Keir_Starmer or his government.
My children are not the face of Modern Britain, their safety and future is irrelevant to him.
My family history replaceable and erasable, our contribution deemed worthless.
I am at a complete loss for words to describe how I feel at this moment; to say I have never felt more betrayed in my life is an understatement.
If it wasn’t clear before that we need to #RestoreBritain, it certainly is now. We absolutely must make it happen.

A charitable trust whose trustees are overwhelmingly current or former Labour politicians is funding a private company to distribute leaflets in a by-election constituency explicitly targeting Reform and backing the Labour candidate. The Charity Commission's own guidance states that a charity must steer clear of explicitly comparing its views with those of political parties or candidates taking part in an election. The leaflet's footer, to join the local fightback against Reform, does precisely that.
Dear all the England supporters that are devastated after last night’s result. There is a new team to get behind that really have a great chance and a season ticket is only £20. @RestoreBritain@RupertLowe10
The Government has just crossed a line. The decision to legally recognise Islamic marriage ceremonies inside UK mosques is not “modernisation” it’s state‑sanctioned parallel legal systems dressed up as reform.
For years, politicians insisted that Britain had one marriage framework for everyone. Now they’re carving out bespoke legal pathways for specific religious groups while pretending it’s “fairness.” It isn’t. It’s fragmentation. This move doesn’t strengthen social cohesion it undermines it.
It doesn’t protect women it risks trapping them in systems where community pressure can outweigh individual rights.
It doesn’t simplify marriage law it politicises it.Britain should be moving toward a single, unified civic standard. Instead, the Government is bending the law to accommodate religious authorities inside places of worship, creating a precedent that will be impossible to reverse. This isn’t progress.
It’s appeasement.
And it’s another example of a political class too afraid to defend the principle that the law of the land should be equal.
On the "far right terror threat" to an Islamic gathering:
If the courts do not prove that the twelve arrested individuals did indeed plan mass murder, you should think through what this would mean:
It would mean that the state discovered a plan to fly drones over an Islamic event to record it, and highlight the Mohammadan colonisation of Britain.
Rather than merely saying that, for instance, they were flying drones without a loicense, the authorities, in partnership with the security services, would have decided to amplify this incident, claim a far bigger threat than actually exists, and use that to help the Labour Party manage the aftermath of Ann Widdecombe's murder.
Recall that so many senior Labour officials had in the past used rather abusive language towards Miss Widdecombe, and that active Labour members celebrated her death. The security services would have chosen to help them continue with this campaign of far left violence by providing an alternative narrative of potential right wing violence.
A lot will depend on this story. Don't forget it.
Of course, it may well be the case that an actual mass casualty attack was being planned. The past behaviour of the authorities leaves me somewhat suspicious of that, but I am very open to being proven wrong.
Last year, 10,500 Pakistanis flew to Britain as students, finished their degrees, then 80% suddenly declared themselves gay & claimed asylum, fearing death back home, & got it. 1/

Keir Starmer used his last act as Prime Minister to promote a man to the House of Lords who did everything he could to cover up the mass rape of children across London
You don't hate these people enough
Matthew McGregor will be Andy Burnham’s new head of political strategy in No10.
Matthew was Director of Campaigns & Communications for Hope Not Hate from January 2018 to October 2021.
Tells us all we need to know about the relationship between Labour and Hope Not Hate.
I’m losing my NHS job that I’ve had for 17 years. I’ve been cancelled from drumming gigs & teaching work & my life has been turned upside down simply for speaking up in support of grooming gang victims & for stating that men can’t give birth.
I’ve been reported to counter-terrorism, received death threats & had Antifa trying to dox me.
Yet I haven’t lost my marbles or gone on a spree. I reject violence and would only ever use force in genuine self-defence.
What’s striking is how common this pattern has become. Many people, often labelled “right-wing”, have had their careers, reputation & social lives ruined for expressing views that polls suggest are held by a large portion of the British public.
It’s weird that you’d stop someone from making money & contributing.
Old people are not the reason young people can’t buy a house.
My mum left school and joined the army, after serving for a few years, she left the army to marry my dad, they bought a little house (mortgage 1) which they sold a few years later to buy a bigger house (mortgage 2), raised 2 kids and when we left home ,they sold that, and bought a smaller house in a better area (mortgage 3). She worked from the day she left school, and she finished paying off her last mortgage 6 months before she retired.
My mum is not the reason young people can’t get a house.
The reason young people can’t get a house is because we have over 13 million people living in this country who were born overseas. Our government has allowed these people to come here, and made no provision what so ever for their housing, education and healthcare. The fact that we don’t have enough houses for the amount of people living in the country is what has raised house prices.
Reduce the amount of people living in the country, more houses will become available and the prices will drop.
Old people are not the reason young people can’t buy a house.
