It all started when Nong Orm commented on Phi Ling’s post with ‘Hi ✨’ followed by ‘Isn’t Je gorgeous?! 😮💨😮💨’ (I’ve explained before that ‘Je’ means ‘big sister’ in Teochew Chinese, but if you’ve been following me, you’d know that in Thai, we don’t take this literally. Thai people often use playful and situational terms. And Nong Orm? She’s super free-spirited and loves calling people funny and random names. Thai people are just naturally playful like that.)
Then Phi Ling replied with, ‘Je-Je wants to exercise,’ using ‘Je-Je’ to refer to herself in the same playful tone that Nong Orm used.
Nong Orm then responded with, ‘Let’s gooo 😎,’ which, if we translate Thai to Thai, would look like this :
(Found this from an account)
'Hi ✨ = Casual greeting
Je gorgeous = Admiring
Je-Je wants to exercise = Missing you
Let’s gooo 😎 = I miss you too, should we meet up?'
Honestly, sometimes this couple is both exhausting and hilarious. They could literally text or use any private app to talk, but they choose to have these conversations in public.
It’s almost like, ‘I’ve got my gorgeous person, and She's asking me to work out. Do you?’
Go ahead then! The 427 million population of Dom Muang are the real victims here 😮💨😮💨😮💨.
