Your position only works if the old guy wasn't strangling him and pushing his head under water.
You can win a fight after being antagonized.
But imagine the old white guy strangling him under the water is like an old black guy curb stomping the head of somebody on the ground.
You've now gone beyond normal behavior and entered into dangerous psycho territory.
@Greenlight_88@cartierfamilyZ The year is 2026.
Another person argues the debunked Leftist propaganda that was being said days after the event and years before the trial occurred.
I am still in awe at how easy it is to brainwash a nation into hating a white boy.
@MsYTHicks@epigeneticforce@Blacksword011 them: "You said red happened but red has been debunked by legitimate sources."
you for some reason: "BLUE!"
Are you okay? Did you have a stroke?
@key2ursole I get tired of people who aren't _____ having opinions on _____ things and people.
Fill in the blanks, honey. If it doesn't sound right when you switch around the races, then you've done a racism without realizing it.
I'm saying zooming in on the worst things happening during those times as a way to bludgeon modern discourse regarding anything that went on in history has gotten ridiculous.
The truth is that a small percentage of total slaves went to the U.S. compared to other countries.
The reason that the U.S. ended up with more slaves at the end was because of the chattel aspect of it, which allowed slaves to have babies who were then also slaves.
It was incredibly fucked up, and was perpetuated a lot by retarded white people who had been exiled from Britain for being retarded.
To be clear, though. The reason other places got more slaves but less of a slave population is because they castrated their slaves, and treated them like actual property.
What happened in the U.S. was fucked up in an ugly, stupid human kind of way.
But Arabs and other peoples were much more clinical and precise in their slavery of Africans.
So, I mean... one may be better than the other. But chattel slavery is what allowed Black Americans to even be at the population they're at right now.
So arguing against what happened in America is actually intrinsically saying that there should be a lower population of Black Americans right now, and that would be preferable in fact.
@ToxicKisToxic@Pastorhuck123@B1TuckerCarlson Black kids running around with guns and knives is so normalized at this point that you see it and go "he comes from a good home with two successful parents".
@B1TuckerCarlson Doesn't add up.
He was in the tent because his good family friend was in the tent?
So... when his friend got up and left, why did Anthony stay chilling by himself in a spot where he shouldn't be at anymore? Why not just go find your friend who lets you be in their tent?
"The enslaved population grew dramatically through natural increase (higher birth rates and lower mortality rates relative to other slave societies in the Americas), especially after the 1808 ban on the international slave trade. By the early 19th century, the U.S. slave population was largely self-sustaining and expanding via births, unlike in many Caribbean or South American colonies that relied on continuous imports due to harsher conditions."
So the slaves were so oppressed that they went from 500k~ to 4 million~ over a couple hundred years through just giving birth and not dying. Very interesting.
Slurs are like the Rings of Power out here.
It began with the forging of the Great Slurs. Three were given to the Whites. Seven to the Mexicans. And nine... nine slurs were given to Asians.
But they were all of them deceived, for another slur was made. Deep in the land of Britain a master slur was forged, and into this slur he poured his cruelty, his malice, and his will to dominate all life.
One slur to rule them all.
Then what ARE you saying? Tighten up your word salad about the film being weaker "because no one thought how he would come off".
What does that even mean? You're saying no one making the movie stopped to think about how the character comes off because he's being played by a Black guy?
@skorpiomag You're literally saying if a character is Black that you should infuse them with Black stereotypes, but have zero self-awareness you're doing it.
Fascinating...
I can't reiterate this enough lately.
Stop forcing activism on Black people.
Stop forcing escapism content to include real life bullshit under the lens of "racial sensitivity".
The fact that so much Black superhero content includes them facing racial diversity or systemic oppression is ridiculous. Black people deserve to have escapism content that isn't there to remind everyone for the millionth time that racism is bad.
"It's wrong to portray life as ugly!"
"Sometimes life is ugly, though. Do you want the people who experience that to stay silent or lie about their own experience?"
>crickets
There's a strange truth when it comes to people who advocate for "good" to be done in the world.
Sometimes... they're confusing "good" with "beautiful".
They are people who do not want a good world.
They are people who want the world to appear good, so they can feel better about it themselves.
@ladystarfaII@ateotbray Holy actual fuck.
You're insane.
How are you this insane but think you're making good points?
Black people are fucking cooked if this is the level of "media literacy" their advocates push...
@ladystarfaII Is the racial stereotype in the room with us right now?
I never bought into Black people being cannibalistic pirates when they fail to become an architect, but now The Backrooms has reinforced it with me.
What the fuck are you talking about in your "film studies"? How to be dumb?
@TheUndeadSystem@bkukindo@DeadGirlStalkin Look up what shootings are, how many have happened, and know they still happen TO THIS DAY at like 1000% higher than lynching.
@gina_scooter You're right. Because it wasn't until watching The Backrooms that I truly bought into the stereotype about Black people being cannibalistic pirates.
