We have completely overhauled how Linkilo works under the hood. This update makes our link suggestions much smarter, prevents the plugin from repeating bad suggestions, fixes background crashes on strict web hosts, and introduces a beautiful, easy-to-read Settings dashboard.

When you are editing a post, you will now see two clear options:

2. A Clean, Modern Look

-No More Confusion: We took all of our scattered settings and organized them into six straightforward categories in one place.

3. Smarter Search Console Data

-Google Priority Tags: Easily see which pages Google likes best with simple, color-coded tags (High, Medium, or Low crawl rates).

🛠️ Important Fixes

-Fixed Broken Charts: The graphs and charts on your dashboard that were refusing to load are now fully fixed and working.

-Fixed Broken Buttons: Fixed a code typo that was making some dashboard buttons, tabs, and dropdown menus unclickable.

-Stopped Database Bloat: Fixed a bug where older versions of the plugin were accidentally creating millions of lines of "junk data," which was clogging up user databases.

-Cut the Clutter: We deleted nearly 2MB of old, unused background files. This keeps the plugin lightweight and helps your WordPress dashboard load faster.

⚠️ Just Upgraded? Read This!

Clear Your Cache: Since we completely changed how the menus look, please clear your website cache (and your browser cache) right after updating so the new design displays properly.

If your database feels slow: The update immediately stops the "junk data" bug from creating new clutter. However, it won't delete the old junk. If your site was affected by this in the past, look inside the plugin's notes/ folder for a quick guide on how to clean it up.

For example our Orphan page report will have critical decision making data such as how long the article has been published, or the word count, if its indexable, if it never crawled, GSC impressions and more. We haven't gone away from being the best internal linking WordPress plugin but we are becoming the best link management and crawlability tool. The site had 149 pages that weren't crawled by Google.
