✅@ylecun is correct. It is very unfortunate that because of how Geoff framed his comments in 2012 and again more recently the dialogue has become AI is after radiologists. Instead of the dialogue that some of us who are rads and understand the hard problems we have to deal with daily wanted to have - AI to help us be more accurate and productive.

Growth in Imaging volume is not slowing down. If you look at in the global context, most of the world doesn’t have access to advance imaging because of lack of talent that can use it.

In my academic practice most of the time cases already came with the diagnosis. My job was not to detect the disease, it was to help my clinical colleagues understand what’s going on and how best to navigate the pathology. @woojinrad @RasuShrestha @RadKottler @alanpittmd @PaulYiMD @adameflanders @curtlanglotz thoughts?
