🇩🇪 A Turkish doctor in Germany is speaking out as the heatwave exposes hospitals running without AC, even in critical care.

"Patients who are already in critical condition now have to deal with the heat."

Staff are sweating through scrubs, gloves and masks, often without a second to wipe it away.

Elsewhere, staff in cardiac units are reportedly falling back on ice-filled cooling vests, with families asked to bring ice packs from home to keep post-op heart patients safe.

One of the richest countries on earth, and this is where they're at.
