Some people will never understand how grief works, and in that sense, they are very lucky. “Ten years na. Malungkot ka pa rin?” Yes. Because grief doesn’t count years. Grief doesn’t have an expiration date. You can go months, even years, perfectly fine, and then one ordinary morning, you miss someone like they just left yesterday.
