AP Computer Science Principles students acted out how a message is actually sent from one user to another, including what could happen along the way - some strong network congestion and software threats made for many dropped packets!

Building off a lesson with Mr Holt, 5th Graders created origami jumping frogs and engineered a basket that would have to stay on as the frogs jumped around and collect Valentine heart messages in STEAM! 🩷🩵🧡@linslyschool

#apcsp students and I are discussing why a programming language is different than spoken language. Using Legos they had to create a design, write instructions to have someone recreate their design exactly.

More good news: this year’s AP Computer Science A students demonstrated slightly stronger mastery than last year’s, so scores have risen, even as educators have expanded access to 19% more students than the prior school year.

The irony of having #apcsa test this afternoon after the failure of the @collegeboard Bluebook situation this morning is not lost on me. Hire some of these CS students to fix the issues! I know my students are prepared and able!
