Lent is not only about giving up food or comforts, but about letting go of everything that separates us from God. It is a time to fast from what is harmful and embrace what brings life, grace, and true conversion. What Should you Fast From During Lent? The answers are as follows:

• Fast from sin, and receive holiness.
• Fast from sorrow, and receive joy.
• Fast from pride, and receive true honor.
• Fast from jealousy, and receive blessings.
• Fast from bitterness, and receive comfort.
• Fast from greed, and receive grace.
• Fast from disrespect, and receive dignity.
• Fast from fear, and receive faith.
• Fast from arrogance, and receive humility.
• Fast from anger, and receive gentleness.
• Fast from ignorance, and receive wisdom.
• Fast from gossip, and receive peace.
• Fast from insults, and receive reverence.
• Fast from shame, and receive courage.
• Fast from hatred, and receive friendship.
• Fast from laziness, and receive success.
• Fast from drunkenness, and receive health.
• Fast from immorality, and receive repentance.
• Fast from an evil spirit, and receive love.
• Fast from worldly pleasures, and gain more time for prayer.

Beloved, during this season of Lent, let us fast from everything that is harmful, so that we may receive unexpected blessings from our Creator. Tumsifu Yesu Kristo.
