Last year, Beau was rescued by FPWC’s partners after spending nine long years in a tiny cage at a spa resort in Armenia. His world was reduced to only concrete, iron bars, and tourists passing by, while the forest he should have lived in was just out of reach.
Now, Beau’s life is completely different.
Beau is safe at FPWC’s rescue center and has finally received the care that had been denied to him for so long. He has nutritious food, veterinary care, a safe place to rest, and enrichment activities to keep his curious mind busy.
Beau’s journey from rescue to sanctuary has not been easy, but every step forward is worth celebrating. Beau is no longer a forgotten bear in a cage. He is now a rescued bear, with comfort, dignity, and millions of people around the world cheering him on 💖
Veer was living with fear and pain every single day.
When we rescued him, we found arthritis, chronic joint degeneration in his right front leg, and severely damaged footpads, each one a reminder of years of exploitation.
What a rescue day! We were so genuinely grateful to have helped out this wonderful family, I am so in love with Henry and we're going to do everything we can for him ❤️
We have just 35 days to raise $45,000 or we risk closing our doors. The dogs are scared. We are scared too. But we refuse to give up because we are all they have.
Every donation, share, and retweet could help save a life and keep these innocent dogs safe.
Please stand with us
Koda's journey is giving us hope. ❤️
Just a few days ago, Koda arrived terrified, unable to trust anyone after the trauma he had endured. Today, we're seeing the first little signs of hope.
He has started putting a little weight on his injured back legs. We don't know if he will ever make a full recovery, but every small improvement means the world to us.
His severe ear infection is responding well to treatment. His skin condition is improving, the ticks are gone, and most importantly, Koda is finally beginning to relax. For the first time, he is starting to feel safe.
His journey is far from over, and he still needs ongoing treatment, rehabilitation, and lots of love. Please continue standing with Koda as we fight for his future. We couldn't do this without you. ❤️🐾

EMERGENCY APPEAL
Our shelter is facing the biggest crisis in its history.
We have just 35 days to raise $45,000 or we risk closing our doors. The dogs are scared. We are scared too. But we refuse to give up because we are all they have.
I heard his cries from across the shelter. I followed the sound, and it led me straight to Buster. 💔 He’s gentle, sweet, and just wants to be loved — but we have 35 days to raise $45,000 or we close our doors. Help us save Buster and every dog like him
This is the life every donkey deserves. ❤️
A full tummy. Gentle cuddles. Playful friends. A safe place to grow old.
Some of these babies arrived as orphans. Others were born at our sanctuary. They will never know the cruelty that so many donkeys on the streets of Pakistan face every single day.
But thousands are still waiting for their second chance.
Please help us rescue more, treat more, and give more donkeys the life they deserve. Your kindness can turn suffering into love.

Snoopy was one of the longest-staying dogs at the shelter. Despite suffering from Cushing’s disease, which affected his vision, hearing, skin, and weight, he remained incredibly cheerful and friendly with everyone. His adorable habit was gently holding and softly chewing on blankets or toys to comfort himself.
Many people fell in love with him, but because he was an older dog with health issues and needed a home with no other pets, no one adopted him.
Julie, a dedicated volunteer, adored Snoopy. She often brought him water and strawberries from Starbucks.
On the day Snoopy finally left the shelter for his new home, all the staff came out to say goodbye because he had become the “star” of the shelter. Julie emotionally shared, “From the moment he came into my life, I decided I would make up for everything life had taken from him. He will be spoiled every single day.”
Today, Snoopy is thriving and incredibly happy. He enjoys long daily walks (4–6 miles), carries his toys everywhere, and especially loves proudly carrying a toy in his mouth during walks with his new mom — it’s unbelievably cute!
Message: Don’t overlook senior or sick dogs in shelters. They deserve a loving home and a chance at happiness too. Adopt, don’t shop! 💖🐶
Integrating diverse approaches to conservation challenges leads to impactful ranger work.
Thirty percent of Mara Elephant Project’s total ranger teams are comprised of both male and female rangers.
The reason for this holistic approach is simple; our ranger teams reflect the communities we serve in the Mara.
As Deputy CEO Meshack Gaga explains, one person’s weakness is another person’s strength and when combined it creates a cohesive ranger team.
#WorldFemaleRangerWeek was created to recognize the role women play in conservation. Their ability to build trust, foster understanding, and champion conservation solutions makes them an invaluable part of the team.
Your generosity contributes to their training and advancement.
