💗 Together, We Fight. Support. Awareness. Hope.
Breast cancer affects more than individuals, it touches families and communities.
This Pink Month, let’s show love and solidarity for every woman fighting, surviving, and inspiring. 💪
📍Day 1
October Is Pink Month
🎗 October is Pink Month!
Breast cancer remains one of the most common cancers among women, but early detection saves lives.
This October, we stand united to raise awareness, promote screening, and support every woman’s right to health and hope.
🩸 Today marks World Menstrual Hygiene Day 🩸
At Linux Foundation, we believe that a girl’s period should never be a reason for her to stay out of school, miss opportunities, or give up on her dreams.
Last year, through our “Period Power” initiative, we reached out to girls in underserved communities, providing sanitary pads and education on menstrual hygiene. It was more than a donation, it was about restoring dignity, confidence, and hope.

Linux Foundation Ghana and EQUIP Ghana/John C. Maxwell Leadership Foundation have partnered to empower future leaders in Junior/Senior High Schools and Universities across Ghana.
The program was designed not just to present the sanitary products but also provide a very educative and informative session with the students on menstrual hygiene, and teenage pregnancy.
On June 21, 2024, Linux Foundation Ghana continued its mission to improve lives with a donation project dubbed "Period Power," aimed at empowering young women and providing period dignity. This event happened at Feyiase D/A in the Bosomtwe district of the Ashanti region.
