Happy weekend peeps! Another morning, another @OmarchyLinux Marketplace plugin successfully accepted 😀

This one is simple but for the gamers on Omarchy who want to pull peak performance when launching their games, but also want to run local LLM's using a llama cpp backend. Turn the server on a serve you model when you want to do LLM things, turn it off an unload when you want to game, simple but effective. Hope you enjoy it!

This is exactly what is wrong with the 'old school' Linux community. Like why can't we all just enjoy and appreciate the distro we choose and love linux and get along!! @sublimecoder How times have changed, you can now install it in under 5 minutes and have everything work out of the box! AMAZING!

90% of the games i play are on Steam and they all work flawlessly out of the box. If you really want to tinker and squeeze performance then you can start changing Proton versions and launch commands. I run every game currently under Proton-GE latest. And to unlock DLSS and a lot of the NVidia coolness, I use launch commands such as:

PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 SteamOS=1 PROTON_MEDIA_USE_GST=1 PROTON_USE_NTSYNC=1 gamemoderun %command%

On games that support it, that one for example is from my Crimson Desert launch commands.

BTW you can cheat code this if you use agents on Omarchy, just ask it to create you a game performance skill that gets the maximum steam performance from Steam launch commands for your system. The screenshot is every game I currently have installed and all play flawless!
