i use a translator to speak with artists, i only speak english. i love art & don’t agree with active genAI use. || writer & artist

@biggestcowbeef Are we allowed to recreate this like an animation meme? with credit ofc, this is fucking murdering me it’s so funny😭😭😭😭

[Lio @liophonics]

@Might_KaISeR I’m appalled at how amazing these drawings are! She’s so talented and the work she did for that degree clearly shows!

[-KsR- @Might_KaISeR]

I showed your nagging to my mother, who also has an artist's degree. And she said that all your quibbles are unjustified, and these are simple mistakes of the artist. At the same time, I will attach drawings of my mother so that there are no questions about her professionalism.

@kianamaiart People act like the white boy cartoons will suddenly stop existing or stop being made as a result of the new cartoons😭 like i promise you’ll survive

[Kiana Mai 🌹 @kianamaiart]

also listen, we went through an oversaturation of "brown haired white boy has silly adventure with friends" cartoons for DECADES

i think we can survive an "oversaturation" of "queer girl leads saving the world with the power of friendship" for a bit

A speedpaint that’s nearly an hour long despite the fact that it’s sped-up??? It’s crazy that they can’t make it any more obvious that it’s not AI

[Lio @liophonics]

To call yourself a professional is incorrect, in my opinion. Professional artists should never do what you’ve just done with this thread. Artists are unable to make mistakes? Maybe a bit of wonky anatomy, incorrect hair placement? That’s not an indicator of AI.

Before any of yall explode, I am a professionally trained artist with real world and online experience. All speculation.

95% sure Chainsawroll DOES draw but has AI enhances or features.. they have no Speedpaints but cropped ones on X. Ima put multiple examples in this 🧵,,, 1/5

[Lio @liophonics]

If you suspect someone of AI, imo, i think you should discuss it with a friend (or even the artist themselves, as I’m sure any real artist would be HAPPY to provide proof! I know I would! Real artists have nothing to hide!)—and only bring it public when you *know* it’s AI.

it shouldn’t be a surprise that the most viewed and prominent indie shows with fandoms are lore driven shows made for gay teens, not just for the above reason, but also because gay teens tend to be the audience that is online and the most active within fandoms
