Today on #TransDayOfVisibility I want to remind folks that trans people are all around you. We’re trying to live our lives as best we can in a world that tends to push back.
It's worth mentioning that the saga is actually far more complicated than that, but that's the easiest shorthand for "a series of absurd incompetencies, beginning with simply forgetting to make a phone call and then losing the prescription entirely."
I don't aspire to be shrimp guy, but it's taking everything I have not to start a twitter rant about CVS just "forgetting" to fill my HRT prescription for four weeks.
Overhearing my wife talk to friends:

I now get served ads for tapestry print loungewear, pomegranate jam, and shimmery fountain pen ink.
