Lady Indians softball season comes to an end today in the regional semi-finals at the hands of still undefeated and #1 ranked Gorman. Best of luck to the Lady Panthers as they move forward.

Baseball 0, Santo 2.
Indians finish the regular season with an 18-6 overall record, 8-2 in district 13A. They will enter the playoffs as the district 1A champ. District 14A having no 1A teams, the Indians receive a bi-district bye. Area round week of May 8
On this Good Friday...
Softball 11, Gordon 0.
Monday night in Perrin, Lady Indians (13-0) and Lady Pirates (12-1) will battle for the district 11A championship. Regardless of the outcome, both teams have a bi-district bye, with district 12A having no 1A teams. Game time 5:00PM.
Softball moves to 12-2 on the season and remains undefeated in district to play with a 17-2 win over Bryson. Next up is Gordon on Friday at 10AM in Lipan, then the regular season finale Monday in Perrin for the district championship.
Softball 16, Graford 1.
Girls will look to keep the district win streak going Thurs vs. Bryson (5PM) and Friday vs. Gordon (10AM), both at home.
Baseball 3, Santo 10.
Indians will be the Dist 13-1A champions, and will get another shot at the 2A champs on Friday in Santo. 12PM.
BOYS AREA TRACK...Luke Whiteley will represent Lipan at the regional meet as the Area Champion in the 400m, and also in the 800m. Hayden Hightower will join him in the 400m. Team scored 33 points to place 7th overall. Good luck, Indians!
GIRLS AREA TRACK...7 Lady Indians will advance to regional in 10 events! Team placed 3rd with 96 points, just behind Eula (97) and Baird (99).
K.Little is the Area Champ in the TJ, and qualified in all five of her events. M.Peacock is the 400m champ and qualifies in three events.
We had 11 high school student compete at the UIL Regional Academic meet this weekend. Congratulations to senior Kara Mercer for qualifying for the state meet in Copy Editing. She’ll be competing in Austin on May 3.
