@wonu32@KvasovaOlesa@bbg_wonu@verstaphion@deerlyjoshu ? so do you think there aren’t non-idol people that work since they’re 14, work part-time/two jobs, have debts that they pay for much longer than 2 years And will never be able to access the money that mingyu from seventeen has at 29? this is obvious
/without the public scrutiny
@nicuh717 that’s what a comparison means, to compare two different things. if they were the same, there’s really no comparison.
also, for english, you should search up how to use ‘y’all’ in a sentence properly. have a nice day!
@HanniesSword17 you are right! the point is that many people can’t choose a job they’re able to love but a job that pays their bills, and millions of those people work hard or harder and will never see any big amounts of money for their effort. it’s not hating on your idol.
@nicuh717 (?? i dont care about anyone’s ideal type, i’m ‘comparing 2 diff works’ because that was what the tweet was about. nobody in this thread is hating on him, they just started a discussion about different jobs
@HanniesSword17@KvasovaOlesa@bbg_wonu@verstaphion@deerlyjoshu there are people that work 9-5 M-F with a 2 week yearly vacation but a big chunk of people also work 80 hours, two jobs, have debts, work since school, etc, and theyll never see checks like a successful music idol. i dont think this is a very new point i’m making
@HanniesSword17@KvasovaOlesa@bbg_wonu@verstaphion@deerlyjoshu ? non-idol workers do those too, (except the haters, lol) or how many hours a week do you think the contractors that cut your grass work? how many vacations do you think the owner of the corner-store has taken in their lives? how about the cleaning ladies at the supermarket?
@KvasovaOlesa@bbg_wonu@verstaphion@deerlyjoshu ‘temporary’ if you compare those 2 years to the 40+ years that everyone else has to work if they want any sort of retirement.
successful idols are obviously hard working individuals but it’s disrespectful to pretend they have the same struggles as the average working class
