Support Free Library by contributing here https://t.co/hWMlcWED4P & Help us get books for our initiatives. At Bansa Library, we’re on a mission to bring education, resources, and opportunities to every corner of our community. This ending year, our fundraiser aims to reach children in government schools, women eager to read, and students in need of basic resources. Through initiatives like Pop-Up Libraries, we’re breaking barriers by bringing books to village squares and schoolyards, we can expand this effort to empower more women and children. Our Mini Libraries transform empty school corners & Panchayat Bhawan into vibrant spaces of imagination and learning, and your support will allow us to fill these spaces with books for all ages. Your contribution can light up lives and inspire dreams, creating a lasting impact. All donations are eligible for tax exemption under 80G of the IT Act.
You can also UPI- amf@hdfcbank for your generous contribution. Let’s make a difference together—every contribution counts!

the unbothered, in my lane & flourishing actually refers to people who can restock dal in a green lid box in a clear lid cupboard & go about their day like nothing is wrong

A few months ago, my very gifted best friend and filmmaker Nikhil Mehrotra and I got the opportunity to make a film on how Delhi moves.

many sequels & spinoffs & franchises are simply just that. a suit in a room running the numbers on the minimum % of original fans who will watch it & green flagging projects accordingly.
don’t think anybody believes that though. live action remakes are almost always pastiche, an attempt to profit off a truly successful idea.
it’s just studios relying on the love for the original to really just make money.
i really fucking despise this asinine belief that live action is inherently superior to animation, or makes something more of a “real movie”. hollywood keeps pushing it and people keep eating it up. this is nothing more than an insult to a great film and the medium it was made in
