Launched my book tracker app this week and I'm going to dive in on the whole ASO thing
Day 1: already #4 for one niche keyword but no big deal since it has very low popularity
let's see how it goes

we all know by now you can't skip marketing, right? not news anymore
the thing is I had zero visibility into whether I was building too much or distributing too little across my products. I remember seeing tips to split your time between coding and marketing 50/50
so I built something: if I skip marketing, my boat sinks ⛵️
it's LIVE on Product Hunt today, upvote if this hits close to home and let's set sail :)

@jackfriks@postbridge_@lovelee_app but in a world where you don't have post bridge and lovelee is your #1, would you get rid of the freemium model at all or just make it less generous?
@seraleev what’s your take on soft paywalls but without a free trial?
users can stay on the free plan forever, but upgrading to premium requires subscribing immediately, no trial period.
been thinking about testing this for a while. feels like it could filter out low-intent trial users
Extra extra… Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is back at #MagicKingdom! 🚂 Reporters from The Tumbleweed Tribune were on the scene to cover the attraction’s big reopening. 📰
@ereniroh Yeah, and as a Brazilian, I can confidently say this is a real game changer in certain countries.
In Brazil, for example, people are very used to buying things in installments. It’s just part of the culture, and it makes a huge difference here.
@filippkowalski my experience with gpt-5.4 high or extra high is usually very high quality and high precision debugging for complex tasks, I think it does that better than any model
But for regular day to day use I agree Claude is still superior
@maks6361 In general, Codex is a better value. It should have higher limits with very high quality too. But if you like claude or just prefer the claude models than the $200 plan is very good too!
I wouldn’t go with Cursor tbh, their limits are super low right now for the good models
@jeiting yeah, also not sure this maps that well to indie startups tbh
if you have LTV > CAC and churn is under control (with very low costs) you probably have a healthy business
