So the Bank of England is allowing 1,000 employees to work from abroad.

Staff at the bank have clocked up almost 13,000 days overseas in 2025 alone!

🚨 Auditors found £745m of fraud and errors involving HMRC.

That’s according to the National Audit Office’s latest report.

Auditors were once again unable to give HMRC a clean audit pass because of the levels of fraud and error in the accounts.

Meanwhile, this Labour Government has already increased taxes by £70 billion.

And Prime Minister Andy Burnham is reportedly considering another £38 billion of tax rises.

How about before taking another penny from taxpayers…

After Louise Haigh resigned in 2024 when her previous fraud conviction became public, you would think the lesson would be simple:

Don't appoint convicted criminals to government.

Instead, the rules have changed so ministers can keep past criminal convictions hidden from the public.

We elect these people to run the country. Voters have a right to know who they're putting in power.

This is a terrible decision.

​The Information Tribunal’s ruling that revealing whether any Starmer government minister declared a criminal conviction during vetting would violate "data protection" exposes a glaring double standard:

​Aggregated Data vs. Personal Privacy: The Times didn't ask for personal names or specific charges. They asked for an aggregate, anonymized headcount. Applying GDPR-style privacy shield protections to non-identifying aggregate numbers sets a dangerous precedent where public-interest oversight is effectively neutered.

​The Vetting Black Box: Standard vetting protocols require disclosure of spend and unspent convictions. If a minister declared a past conviction and was still appointed, the public has a legitimate constitutional right to know if standard vetting rules are being bent or reinterpreted at Ministerial level.

​Institutional Hypocrisy: A government that campaigned on "restoring trust," public integrity, and ruthless standards of transparency is now relying on legal technicalities to hide basic operational metrics about its own front bench.

​Privacy laws were created to protect vulnerable citizens from overreach by powerful institutions—not to protect powerful politicians from accountability to the citizens who elected them.

The absurdity is breathtaking.

Foreign motorists can fail a UK driving test and still legally keep driving on their overseas licence during the 12-month grace period, while the DVLA admits it does not even keep a register of how many are doing this.

So the public gets lectures about “road safety”, but the system cannot even tell us how many untested drivers are out there.

That is not a policy. That is negligence.
