Greater Manchester police: Yeah but those Rochdale girls were asking for it
Lancashire Police : It’s a Welsh choir boy
Hampshire police: Stabbed? Don’t think so mate
Devon and Cornwall police: We haven’t yet charged anyone but we know the motive is not political or terrorism
Lindsey Graham: "I am unapologetically supportive of Israel. If you don't get that supporting Israel is beneficial to the United States, you should probably flunk out of college"
One of the greatest friends of the Jewish people.
May he rest in peace.
So police know Ann Widdecombe’s horrifying death was not a burglary gone wrong.
The suspect drove nearly 300 miles to Ann’s home ‘with wooden stick’.
But he wasn’t “politically motivated”? What was the motive?

Before a single British victim receives a letter informing them that the person who destroyed their life is being released years ahead of schedule, the Government owes the country an answer to a simple question. Why are ten thousand foreign nationals still here?
It was the middle of the night, at about 1.30am, when Norway lost to England.
Yet thousands of Norwegians went to the Palace in Oslo and celebrated with one final Viking row.
They did not riot. They did not burn cars. They did not smash bus stops or glass windows of shops.
They smiled. The laughed. They saw the positive in their performance. They celebrated their heritage. They were proud of who they have been in the past and who they are today.
Norway might be out of the World Cup 2026 but they are in our hearts.
In the last three weeks, I think we have all fallen a little bit in love with Norwegians.
Why is @BBCNews calling Ann Widdecombe “former Tory minister”?
Ann was the proud Justice and Immigration spokesperson for Reform UK.
Unlike the Tories, Nigel Farage would have put Ann in the House of Lords.
She would have been a brilliant Baroness.
For the next two days, we will pause our satire and share clips celebrating Ann Widdecombe’s greatest moments. Ann was a fearless champion of free speech, and her words feel more relevant than ever.
Please join us in paying tribute to her.
I suggest @PeterTatchell reads my @thetimes article.
I denounced Operation Midland as a “homosexual witch-hunt”. Ann Widdecombe stood by me. Not one LGBT charity even dared. Tatchell was remarkably silent. Ann stuck her head above the parapet to offer support - privately, publicly & practically.
I was accused of being a child murdering paedophile & was forced to declare “I am a homosexual. I am not a murderer. I am not a paedophile.”
Ann was always at the end of a telephone or an email whenever I needed her. She gave me private, public & practical support when it came at a personal & political cost.
That speaks for itself.

ANDREW NEIL: The Populist Right is now on the brink of power in France. The fallout for the European Union will be huge.

Anne Widcombe as always is correct.
Her last words should rebound around the parliament walls like a tolling bell.
Nigel_Farage
is being stitched up
That's was said in her last public interview
Apology not accepted.
Nothing to do with facts. You called that great woman, just slaughtered, an “old maid”, a “virgin”, a “spinster”.
Language which gave away your horrible misogyny.
You would NEVER have described a 78-year old man as “bachelor” let alone “virgin”.
It was unforgivable.
As Ann would have said: “APP-ALL-LLING”!
Henry Nowak protest - Police ready with riot gear and batons, grabs a man to the ground whilst hitting him.
Morocco supporters rioting - Police run away.
The difference is striking.
One of these protests is because they're angry little girls and young women have been raped.
The other is a riot because they lost a game of football.
They are not the same.
The police do not behave the same.
This is Heather Herbert, the Labour Party and now Green Party supporter. She tweeted about the death of Ann Widdecombe, "I hope it was an extremely painful death".
There seems to be something physical and psychological that identifies this type of evil person. It disturbs me greatly.
Heather, you are not fit to walk in the shadow of Ann.

Some people will disagree, but if Britain was closer to Ann Widdecombe’s views than to Andy Burnham’s views, then this country would be in a much better place.
Progress for the sake of progress has certainly contributed to Britain becoming a low-trust society.
🚨 Auditors have REFUSED to sign off the Government’s accounts.
That comes directly from the National Audit Office.
They’ve issued what’s known as a disclaimer of opinion.
That’s audit speak for: “We can’t verify the numbers.”
This is the same Government that has:
💰 Put taxes up by £70 billion.
💰 Borrowed £270 billion
💰 Told us there still isn’t enough money to properly fund our Armed Forces.
Yet their own auditors are saying they can’t verify the accounts.
And remember…
This is the same National Audit Office that has found up to £81 billion a year is lost through fraud and error.
Can you imagine if this was a private business?
It would be shutdown and investigated
There are those who want to tax us more and give these people even more money.
I have a different idea.
How about we start looking into where all the money is actually going?
Because if the auditors are refusing to sign off the accounts…
…and the National Audit Office says up to £81 billion is lost through fraud and error every year…
…perhaps the problem isn’t that taxpayers aren’t paying enough.
Perhaps it’s that nobody seems to know where the money is going.
You are a disgusting, conceited, condescending, morbidly obese misogynist who was horrible to a great woman who had just been murdered.
Why has @SkyNews not fired you?
Dear the World,
We lost a beautiful soul today. A feirce patriot who only ever wanted the best for our country.
I feel shattered. I am sure many others do
The UK is Broken. Can we fix ourselves? Do we even want to?
Her name was Ann Widdecombe
😔💔🇬🇧
🚨The government seems to be making a habit of burying stuff in the distraction of making Burnham king…
Er … the Home Office has quietly opened a consultation to repurpose your driving licence as a searchable identity file for the state.
Police access to DVLA data is currently mainly for road traffic issues.
The government wants to extend automated access to all crime! …. AND “policing purposes”, including cases where no crime is being investigated.
That could include your name, address, date of birth, photograph, signature, convictions and medical information!!!
MPs will only get a yes or no vote on the final regulations. They can’t amend them and this change to your privacy will not get a separate vote.
Sounds a bit like we’re becoming a police state to me 🚨
Met Police were chased out of London last night by hordes of Muslims.
One officer in hospital with serious injuries.
No Keir Starmer addressing the nation?
Telling they'll face the full force of the law?
Sadiq Khan not saying how "welcoming" London is?
