A little boy in Gaza crying ‘my mother’ over and over again while being comforted by another little boy. This world is so cruel and hateful. I despise everyone ‘debating’ genocide and the 76 years of occupation, apartheid and ethnic cleansing.

Sound & Vision: War Child UK x Art on a Postcard
We are excited to announce another exciting partnership with War Child UK to present Sound & Vision: an innovative fundraising exhibition with 180 Strand featuring 33 leading artists responding to one iconic David Bowie lyric - We Like Dancing and We Look Divine, from the song Rebel Rebel.
This initiative aims to raise funds for War Child, the only specialist charity for children affected by conflict, by pairing contemporary artists with beloved musicians. The event celebrates Bowie's legacy of creativity in supporting War Child throughout his career and features new work from renowned artists like George Underwood, Stuart Semple, Ishbel Myerscough, and many others (see full list below). To stay in the know, keep an eye on our socials and future newsletters and be the first to see the work that will make up Sound & Vision.
Sound & Vision will be exhibited at 180 Strand from September 26th to 27th, and the auction will run from September 17th to October 1st.

RIP Vince Power. From flogging old furniture to the most important music promoter in the UK - quite the journey. Saved the near-moribund Reading festival, and others. Turned The Mean Fiddler into London's CBGBs, London's Fillmore. A life fully lived.
