After 37 1/2 years in the Civil Service it’s time to hang up my hat. What a journey it has been, ending my career on a high as the woman that led the team to successfully design, build and implement Social Security in Scotland. I couldn’t be prouder of what we have achieved.
Very proud of my Programme along with Social Security Scotland to be winners of 2 awards and nominated for 4 awards at the Scottish Public Service Awards. Well done to all.
Well after a 36 year career in the Civil Service this amazing man @Phil_ScotGov my husband retired yesterday. Reaching the top of his game in Scottish Government. He wanted to go quietly, but we ended it with a bit of a bang. Now I just need to refresh his jobs list. L xx
Proudest moment of my career. We launched Adult Disability Payment today in Scotland. What an amazing job by the Social Security Teams - Programme, Policy and Agency #collaboration at its best! Dignity, fairness and respect at the heart of this benefit.
One year ago today since I lost this amazing man!! Not a day goes by without a feather, a butterfly or just a gust of wind reminding me how much I miss him. RIP Dad love you loads 💕
So proud of Social Security Directorate and Agency. We just won the Campbell Christie Public Service Reform Award at the Scottish Public Service Awards in recognition of the excellent services we provide to the people of Scotland. Amazing result - well deserved by the teams ⭐️
As Programme Director delivering Social Security in Scotland @SocSecScot I couldn’t be prouder of my amazing teams. We are leading the way in transforming Social Security putting people at the heart of everything we do!! Another successful benefit launched.
Put our lifelong friend to rest yesterday, he was a beautiful sole, the kindest most generous man you could meet David (Tids) Turner. Taken too early leaving behind a beautiful family. RIP
I think 2020 has finally broken me. 💔 But I am so lucky to have fantastic family and friends to get me through the next days, weeks and months xxx Lisa 3/3
After losing Mum earlier in the year, today I lost my amazing Dad. I didn’t think my heart could break any more, but I’m ripped apart. To me he was my rock in life, such a kind man & I’ll miss him more than anything in the world. 💔 1/3
He had been with my Mum forever, over 65 years, and was never the same since she left us in June. He was the strongest person I know and managed to fight off 2 lots of cancer only to die of a broken heart. I cling to the hope that he will be with Mum for Christmas. 2/3
Happy 90th Birthday to my amazing Dad. Still going strong after fighting pancreatic cancer for the last 6 years. He is a walking miracle. Love you loads Lisa & Phil xxxx
Today would have been my beautiful Mum’s 86th Birthday. Only 6 years ago we celebrated her 80th and Dad recovering pancreatic cancer operation. Mum looked after him all her life and it’s a miracle he is still with us, all down to Mum. We miss you so much, will love you forever xx
My beautiful Mum passed away this morning. She was an amazing strong lady and was the king pin of our family. She put up a great fight to the end, this was a picture from last Saturday. My heart is breaking 💔
