Questa roba deve finire all’istante. La raffineria va sanzionata, chiusa e basta.
@ShubertSomer@jmisci You are quite the jerk. Yes, even with the contrastiness of video, the tonal ranges still says films. Feel free to fuck right off. This was shot with available light, pushed to 32000 by Leo Levine who also make the split toned sepia print. My specialty - very low light shooting

@NelltheWeaver Ah, arthritis, I know it well. I developed it in 1977 after a crushed ankle and broken hip in a car accident. I wish I had gotten more x-rays over the decades, I may have been able to get joint savings treatments. Anyway, it's been a life of adaptation for me, find new ways to do

During a russian assault on a position in the Kostiantynivka direction, Vadym "Kirpich", an infantryman with the 3rd Mechanized Battalion of the 93rd Kholodnyi Yar Brigade, was shot in the leg.
He survived, but the wound left him unable to walk on his own. His leg hurt constantly and took a very long time to heal. Medical supplies and bandages were delivered to him by drones, while his comrades helped him recover little by little. Eventually, Vadym was able to move around slowly with the help of a stick. But enemy drone activity in the sky kept increasing, and russian forces also began remotely mining the roads.
Several times, "Kirpich" was offered evacuation by ground robotic system. During his time on the position, the "Radist" company of the 3rd Mechanized Battalion had been actively expanding the use of these technologies. But the infantryman kept refusing – he simply could not bring himself to climb onto a robot. As if he sensed that the road home would not be easy.
At the controls was "K2", a former infantryman and a friend of "Kirpich". They had gone through basic training together and later served on infantry positions side by side. Unfortunately, "K2" failed to get the first two robots through. One ground robotic system hit a mine, while the other was destroyed by an enemy FPV drone.
When Vadym was finally being evacuated on a third robot, it struck an anti-tank mine. The blast threw "Kirpich" onto the ground. Fighters from nearby positions rushed to help him. Then a fourth robot was sent in to bring him out.
The incredible efforts soldiers make to pull their own out of hell, the struggle against fear, severe wounds, complex logistics, words of support, and an unbreakable will to live – all of this is featured in a new video on the YouTube channel of the 93rd Kholodnyi Yar Brigade https://t.co/7imHTO3Agu
A rare white Bennett’s wallaby joey was born in May at #Mykolaiv Zoo - a first in its 125-year history. Amid the war, the zoo continues to care for its animals, offering refuge and a symbol of resilience for the local community.
"Truth dies in the trenches if the commander doesn't hear it."
A year ago, Ukraine's 3rd Army Corps @azov_media inherited a sector in critical condition: units losing cohesion, commanders making decisions in the dark, battlefield reality systematically falsified up the chain of command.
Today, the 3rd Corps holds over 12% of Ukraine's entire front line — and has cut friendly casualties by three times while increasing enemy losses fivefold in its sector.
This is what institutional transformation looks like under fire. 🧵👇

Video from Pasadena Councilmember Rick Cole who was out there all last night and into the early morning documenting this US military “training exercise”
It’s heartbreaking to watch fundraising efforts for young, honest men who still carry the fire and determination to fight fall short. The reality is that the brigade cannot fully cover the needs of every unit under its command. So what are these soldiers supposed to do?
I don’t want to see them lose hope or give up.

It's time to close the loophole that feeds Irish raw materials from Limerick to Russia’s military industry.
It's time for effective EU sanctions.

Moscow is killing our children. No words in the world can ever ease this unbearable pain and horror.
According to official figures alone, Russia has taken the lives of 707 Ukrainian children. Another 2,548 have been wounded and maimed by explosions. More than 20,000 have been abducted and forcibly taken from their homes. These are just dry numbers, but each one represents a lifetime of pain for a Ukrainian family.
Today, June 4, is the Day of Remembrance for Children Killed as a Result of Russia’s Armed Aggression Against Ukraine.
Everything the Russians are doing amounts to genocide. It is a systematic and clearly planned attempt to destroy the Ukrainian nation. They deliberately target our children, committing war crimes for which there can be no justification. They are destroying our history, our memory, and trying to physically kill our future.
We will never forgive the Russians for this. There is no and will never be any justification or forgiveness for crimes committed against our children. Everyone who gave these orders and everyone who carried them out will be found and destroyed. The ground will burn beneath your feet wherever you try to hide.
There are no words that can comfort parents whose lives have been shattered forever by Russian killers. But we have a duty: to bring home every abducted child and to do everything to ensure that the truth about these crimes is heard around the world.
Eternal memory to the innocent victims of Russian terror.
Glory to Ukraine!
