A dozen girls walked away in protest from a high school cross-country race in Washington state on Tuesday after a male, who had raced on the boy's team for his school earlier in the season, was now racing against them as a girl. I applaud these young ladies for standing up for themselves and the rights of female athletes. They weren’t disrespectful, they just quietly walked away as the race started and the rest of the runners took off. God bless them for taking a stand. I pray that our nation will wake up and put an end to this nonsense.

NEWS: The 16-year-old gunman at Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend, Oregon, was spotted by a good Samaritan after he first fired at a vehicle outside the school.

The community member watched the teen enter the building and immediately pursued him inside. Armed with a long gun, the 16-year-old Bend resident opened fire in the school, killing three children ages 5, 8, and 11, along with a teacher.

The good Samaritan ENGAGED the gunman and HEROICALLY killed him, preventing further loss of life.

A little boy saw a hurt kitten on the side of the road, his bus driver let him save it, and she lost her job for it.

Her name is Cynthia Morgan.

For 11 years she drove kids in Harford County, most recently to North Harford Elementary.

Parents say every fall she BOUGHT SCHOOL SUPPLIES for EVERY child on her bus.

Oh, and she also bought:

-> Birthday cards.

All out of her own pocket, for all her bus stop students.

In one mom’s words:

Then one day... in rural Pylesville, the boy spotted an injured kitten by the road.

He was the ONLY child on the bus

Cynthia stopped, he hopped off, scooped up the kitten, and held it the whole way to school.

On October 5th, the district’s transportation director sent a letter to the contractor that employs her and stripped her of her certification.

More than 10,000 people have signed a petition to bring her back.
