Meet “Anna Lucia”. Anna Lucia is 9yrs old and goes to school at M-LISADA Passion primary school. She comes to M-LISADA during the day and is a member of the Children from Katwe slum. At M-LISADA,she participates in cultural dances.

gymnastics and our community reading program. She loves M-LISADA, because it has given her a chance to learn things that she used to not know. Now she can dance, talk to people freely without any fear, and also read and write. M-LISADA power!

Innocent is 9. He studies in 2p at M-LISADA Passion primary school. At M-LISADA he does acrobatics and cultural dances. He will play trumpet in the M-LISADA band and looks forward to learning the long drum because he loves the sound.
