@MenoScandal @mariacaulfield I went to france last year to get HRT as I couldn’t get what I needed in the UK. Had an appointment with a friends GP and I had a prescription for what I needed within which I collected right away and at a cost of £25.

This is a really important read. People don’t realise the benefits of oestrogen long term. It’s not just about during the peri/menopause it’s about women’s long term health.

As oestrogen supports brain function, there’s increasing evidence to suggest that taking HRT could also play a key role in reducing the risk of dementia, as shown with this observational research from the University of Arizona Center for Innovation in Brain Science.

This is something I talk more about in my book, and thought it was important to share.
