Not one politician has dared to talk about what's happening at that Chinese-owned dairy plant in Kingston.
Liberals, Conservatives—everyone has been silent.
You'll soon find out why.
The depressing 20-year legacy of An Inconvenient Truth
Exactly two decades ago today, Al Gore's movie "An Inconvenient Truth" thrust climate change into the global spotlight. With dramatic imagery and dire warnings, it transformed a niche concern into a front-page crisis, influencing rich country leaders and elite jet-setters, and inspiring a generation of activists.

Canada clearly has a chicken problem.
While prices are skyrocketing, Canada imported roughly 200–215 million kilograms of chicken over the past year — enough for about 1.3 to 1.4 billion chicken meals. About 60% comes from the U.S., and most Canadians have no clue.
Under supply management, we’re supposed to eat mostly Canadian chicken at a reasonable price.
An Inconvenient Truth for climate alarmists:
Al Gore’s dramatic climate warnings shaped a generation — but 20 years later, the data tell a very different story.
Climate-related deaths are down 97% over the past century, polar bears more than doubled since the 1960s, and global burned area has decreased by more than 25% over the past quarter century.
That's hardly a success of climate policy though: fossil fuels still provide 81% of world energy, emissions keep rising, and $16 trillion+ spent on green policies since Gore's movie came out hasn’t changed the trajectory.
A good reminder that panic is a terrible policy adviser.

Canada’s euthanasia regime resembles ghoulish dystopian fiction.
An Ontario “medical doctor” approved the killing of a man with mental health challenges, including suicidal ideation, in a Tim Horton’s parking lot.
He then drove his patient directly to an industrial morgue facility and proceeded to kill him in a holding room.
The same “physician” also failed properly to kill another patient because he couldn’t find one of the deadly drugs in his briefcase. He pronounced the man dead, but when the patient’s breathing restarted, the killing physician had to return to finish the job, and pronounce him dead a second time.
Despite a review by the Ontario College of Physicians, this quack is still licensed to practice medicine.
And despite almost daily horror stories like this, the Liberal government is considering further exemption of the world’s most licentious euthanasia regime, to include the killing of minors and the mentally ill.
For some 2300 years, virtually every physician in the western world took the Hippocratic Oath, pledging “neither will I administer a poison to anybody when asked to do so, nor will I suggest such a course.”
How far we have fallen.

The Liberals have been using the CPP & QPP's assets in their calculations to show that the federal debt is lower than it is. It's not only creative accounting but a straight-up lie.
I've been calling this out for years and glad to see it now mentioned on CBC as this lie being parroted by voters all the time.
"we're facing a rising debt-to-GDP ratio, especially when you combine it with the provinces. The government is not only unconcerned about this but presents a kind of a cack-handed way of explaining it, where if you subtract the CPP and the QPP, we have a debt-to-GDP ratio of only 10%.
Well, you can't actually use pension funds to pay off your debts; it's a completely bogus comparison."
Coyne gets it here. This is not turning out to be a transformational government, there’s no sign of the bold leadership needed to get big things done. It’s perhaps too early to conclude that voters were duped, swept off their feet by a wave of nationalism and anti-Americanism, but we’re getting there.
Same month Carney was named as Trudeau economic advisor; October met with Beijing mayor, expressed keen interest in CCP administered investment inside China (per CCP readout); November 2024 secured 276 million loan for Brookfield … Jan 2025 runs for LPC leadership; January 26 strategic PRC partner…
