Amazing how Multiple Sclerosis suddenly “appears” when you have physicians trained to recognize the condition. The amount of times I have heard “MS is not in Africa” stated by Western neurologists is too numerous to count.

Congrats to @mashina_chomba who received the Du Pré Grant from the @MSIntFederation to study the experience of #Zambia #MultipleSclerosis patients obtaining their diagnosis. This info will help local providers recognize the condition. The dogma that MS is not in Africa must end.
