The New York Post reports that Rep. Ilhan Omar's congressional office asked Minnesota officials to change her listed birth year in May 2019, according to emails it reviewed. The library's records had carried October 4, 1981 throughout her time in the Minnesota House.

In a May 24, 2019 email, the library director wrote that staff were told by Omar's office that her birth year was incorrect and "𝘳𝘦𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘵𝘰 1982." The director said the 1981 date came from other reference sources, "𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘥𝘰𝘤𝘶𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯."

The timing matters. The request came months after Omar took office, and, per outlets citing the Post, shortly after a viral video from a political opponent questioned whether she had accurately stated her age. Her staff was also working on Wikipedia and the congressional biographical directory, the emails say.

Omar has long said she gained citizenship through her father, who naturalized in 2000, while she was still a minor. 𝐀 𝟏𝟗𝟖𝟏 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟖 𝐨𝐫 𝟏𝟗 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫. A 1982 birth year keeps her under 18. I found no response from Omar to the emails.

This lands as Fox reports federal investigators are examining her family's immigration history and agents were seen at her Washington home. BREAKING: Abdul El-Sayed's campaign is responding to @FoxNews after unearthed social media posts from El Sayed's sister in 2012 appear to show her saying her family has been involved with and supportive of the Muslim Brotherhood. I asked the campaign if they deny the posts are in fact from his sister, and what comment they have given that El-Sayed just told Meet the Press over the weekend that nobody in his family has any ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. This is what they told me.

“Abdul is a dad and a doctor. He has spent his entire career working to keep Michiganders healthy and safe. Independent fact checkers have repeatedly debunked Mike’s lies, but their campaign continues to use bad faith attacks on Abdul's faith and family. Alan Dershowitz spent decades as a Democrat and a Harvard Law professor. Now the famed legal scholar says Jack Smith trampled civil liberties while chasing President Trump. He told Just the News the pen register tracking of defense lawyers’ calls was “𝘢 𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘷𝘪𝘰𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘢𝘤𝘺.”

Newly released documents show Smith’s team obtained the long-distance phone records and text messages of members of Congress. According to Just the News, they also tracked at least 21 defense lawyers’ calls to and from the phone of Trump’s top advisor, Susie Wiles, while Smith ran two separate criminal cases against the president.

President Trump's January 2025 executive order restricting pediatric gender procedures is the federal policy answer to exactly her story. Britain's own Cass Review, the largest government-commissioned study of pediatric gender medicine ever conducted, found 𝐧𝐨 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 that transition improves long-term mental health in minors. Her detransition is the receipt that report tried to warn everyone about.

Alan Nichols checked into a British Columbia hospital in June 2019 after his family raised concerns for his safety. Forty days later, he was dead — k!lled under Canada’s euthanasia law after 𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 himself. His brother, Gary Nichols, doesn’t mince words: “𝘈𝘭𝘢𝘯 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘱𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩,” he says.

The application hospital staff helped him complete listed exactly 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐬. Nichols had lost his hearing as a child after brain surgery, and by the time he was hospitalized he’d stopped using the cochlear implant that let him communicate — reduced to writing on an erasable whiteboard. A nurse practitioner who examined him flagged “𝘢 𝘩𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘴𝘦𝘪𝘻𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘴, 𝘧𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘵𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘦,” not a terminal illness. The hospital pushed the request through anyway, over that nurse’s own objections and his family’s.

Nichols’s family didn’t learn what was happening until four days before he was k!lled — and the hospital wouldn’t even let them see him, citing patient privacy. The family filed complaints with British Columbia’s medical regulator and the RCMP, demanding criminal charges against hospital staff.
