Now rebooked to 6am flight
Requesting a hotel room to spend the night.

My flight was diverted. Given overnight stay and $12 meal voucher. Additional charges incurred because airport shuttle wasn't free. Also $12 doesn't go far. How to get reimbursed??

My original flight was LAX - ORD - LGA
was diverted to LAX - ORD - DCA - JFK
Reason was not weather related.
I was provided a meal voucher of $12.00 and a night stay at the Sheraton Elk Ridge ORD.
I was inform the transportation airport to/from hotel is free.
