@Iwaswronglyaccu All too often the police pay out to silence victims, the Legal Aid board are complicit, no LA for anyone trying to sue police. @Iwaswronglyaccu @ianpuddick@JU5TLAW
@BrianWillmot @Iwaswronglyaccu Such a highly debated subject and one with which I am fascinated. The simple answer is yes, based on rebuttable presumption/reversal of burden of proof.
This is an interesting article if you are interested. https://t.co/v7Ogc866Y8
@BrianWillmot @Iwaswronglyaccu No I am not suggesting at all that he is innocent, quite the contrary, I am stating that without due legal process & conviction, he is entitled to that presumption in the eyes of law. What I 'think' does not usurp his democratic rights.
@BrianWillmot @Iwaswronglyaccu As the author of this thread states, a dead person is unable to defend themselves, but they ARE legally innocent, that is indisputable.
@BrianWillmot @Iwaswronglyaccu Ok and so, What is morally right and what is legally right are juxtaposed. A person is legally innocent until convicted by a jury of their peers. Therefore legally they die innocent, regardless of whether they are truly innocent or not.
@BrianWillmot @Iwaswronglyaccu May I refer you to Clause 39 of the Magna Carta? the right to due process and the presumption of innocence. If an alleged perp dies prior to being convicted by a jury of their peers, then they are legally innocent. like it or not ctd...
@BrianWillmot @Iwaswronglyaccu The author of this initial post is quite correct, without guilt being established, then families suffer and potentially an innocent person is posthumously vilified in the court of public opinion
@BrianWillmot @Iwaswronglyaccu Inherent in the right to due process is the presumption that, prior to the proper judgement, you are undeserving of punishment. So whatever maybe deemed morally right or wrong is of no significance.
@BrianWillmot @Iwaswronglyaccu May I refer you to Clause 39 of the Magna Carta? namely 'the right to due process and the presumption of innocence'
Once an alleged perp dies without being convicted by a jury of their peers, then legally it follows that they are innocent in the eyes of the law. Like it or not
@BrianWillmot @Iwaswronglyaccu 'Alleged' is the key word. In a democracy everyone is entitled to presumption of innocence til proven guilty. Therefore I think what the author of this post is saying quite rightly, is that should a person die without being found guilty, they are legally innocent, rule of law.
@ccmumof4_cheryl @Iwaswronglyaccu @jillyuk_50 Cheryl, don't we all, fortunately for my friend, the intervention of wronglyaccused has completely turned this around. My friend was naive, too trusting, I have no doubt he would have been charged and convicted as an innocent man without Jon's immediate help. Forever grateful
@Iwaswronglyaccu Absolutely right, thanks for the great advice and helping to prevent my friend being cajoled into a situation which is not beneficial.
@bedspolice This video on youtube, posted 2 days ago has shocked & upset me. I found it very disturbing, a threat towards children. Can u confirm what action is bein g taken. As a former paediatric nurse, this is far from acceptable & I want it logged.

@LancsPolice https://t.co/XtOYwXiXwb Try teaching your tyrants about the law. The only difference here is that the bullies can arrest under sec 5 if they feel alarmed or distressed. Coruption at its best, I wish we had the 1st ammendement to stop this police state we live in.
@loosewomen@KatiePrice@ITV@WeAreSTV Quite right too, backing you all the way Harvey :) Keep smiling gorgeous boy, good luck to you and mummy in your endeavour to get this law passed.
@KatiePrice Gorgeous Harvey, he has every right to have an Instagram account like any other teen. How dare people suggest that he shouldn't, so bullies win. Go Harvey! can't wait to see your pics, you're worth a million of any one of those nasty trolls. I'll be following you for sure :)
