@nckhui Feels like this is missing context. We did not wake up one day and say "Let's look at this." You are the person who brought us this offer. We said your ask was the first we heard of the offer, so sure, we'll look into it but it isn't a priority, so there is no timeline.
Communities Western NC have been severely impacted by Hurricane Helene. Families and school staff will need support as they deal with the aftermath of the storm. We invite you to help by taking part in relief efforts happening at our schools > https://t.co/WAzMy9Fqcn
@msmikkibarnes@WCPSS It's hard to imagine, but our teachers have found needles, glass bottles, and other items that are not safe for children on school property. These guidelines help keep schools safe for all our kiddos to play in.
@msmikkibarnes@WCPSS We are required to ensure that students can use the school grounds without risk, and that isn't possible without knowing exactly who is using the property and having someone supervise to ensure the school is ready for students the next day.
Tell the world you love public schools by purchasing an item from our line of "I Love Public Schools" merch. A portion of every sale goes to support our programs for @WCPSS teachers and students. https://t.co/yj6wK6DHOd
@SidewalksDurham@WCPSS Hi. WCPSS Comms Director here. We do not. I think something is lost in translation here. @robinpam -- if this parent needs help, send them my way: [email protected].
Here's the official policy, for reference: https://t.co/S64diqwTnW
@KeithKoloff71@WCPSS WCPSS spokesperson here. There's no evidence this person is a WCPSS teacher/WCPSS staff. There was no meeting with the Creech Road principal or HR.
This person is a troll.
@nckhui If by PR, you mean building relationships with community organizations, municipalities, parents, students and community members to help studentsโ sure.
@buckeyemomof2@nckhui If you are a current employee, contact HR if you have questions. If you are a prospective employee, ping @recruitwcpss with your questions -- we'd love to tell you about all the great reasons you should teach here!
@buckeyemomof2@nckhui WCPSS Comms here, chiming in. With LGP, a Teacher/certified employee receives the state base salary (because that is what law allows them to be paid) and a local supplement that makes up the difference between the bachelor's base and the total master's-level salary.
