@MrPhysicalEd@LovePhyEd@BodePE I’ve done Active Life style inquiries with grades1-7. Was a process, we brainstormed, into big aspects of Active Healthy lifestyles. We spent time on each area from hand washing, oral hygiene- to brain health, sleep and rest/ recovery. We looked at what our community offered. 👍

@ShauneBeatty We as teachers experience loss daily ( lessons, visiting friends but we demonstrate resiliency and adaptability to our students. We see resiliency in our students and learn from them. Focus on what we can do and not what we can’t. We need to shift our language and mindset.

“Physical Activity” Day on the field. Physical literacy skills through fun stations while maintaining “eagle wing span”/distancing. It has happened over 2 days, all k-5 students at school (Max 35 on field) had a chance to participate and PA stations description were sent home.
@PhysEdDynasty Thanks, we just need to look at what we can do and adapt what we’ve been doing. Physical Educators are masters at adaptation and creating positive learning environments. We are what students need, pationate, inspirational and fun.
When our children return to school they will need dance, drama, visual/media arts, Indigenous education, music, H&PE more than ever. Through experiential learning these disciplines build the skills & knowledge for students to cope & understand the world around them. #InspireHPE
