@project3architects were treated to a building tour of @SSL_Architects beautifully detailed extension of St Peter's Church in Ancoats. The new build element provides additional rehersal space, back of house facilities and a café open to the public.

On the subject of London museums, one of my favourite exhibitions last year was ‘Biology of Metal: Metal Craftmanship in Tsubame-Sanjo’ at @japanhouseldn. It featured this demonstration of an extreme precision diecast ‘magic metal’ block.

@DesignMuseum @Ferrari @F1 The Design Museum itself is worth a visit. It opened at the repurposed former Commonwealth Institute (RMJM, 1962/refit by John Pawson) in 2016. The atrium provides circulation and exhibition space beneath a spectacular hyperbolic paraboloid roof
