@clhubes I had my daughter in June 2020. Part of me wants to go for a second (and get to experience a "normal" postpartum) but another part of me is still trying to process WTF happened the first time around...
@DrShaneRRR IMO comms could help with a lot of the pain points at the moment... I'd love to see a great multi-channel campaign helping people understand what 000/ED is for. TV ads saying "save 000 for emergencies" are not that helpful when people don't know what qualifies as an emergency!
@david_perell Is it also the time creatives have (or don't have) to spend on this stuff now? It's not 'Mad Men', where they sat around for weeks working on one concept. Now the designer has to pump out the logo in 20+ formats, brand guidelines, pitch deck, etc etc... all before lunch time.
@GingerGorman I'm a former journo and news junkie so it's rare I turn off the news but did after the recent shooting in Uvalde to protect my own mental health - the combo of heartbreak for those poor families and fury that it had happened yet again was too much to handle.
My sister-in-law’s neighbour - a CHILD - was mugged on the way home from the pharmacy for his RAT. In Hawthorn. So I guess some people are getting them for free, right Scott? Disgusting. #covid19vic#covid19aus#auspol
Time for the state govt to divert some of their ad spend from vaccination to First Aid tips and free courses... empower people to understand what needs 000 (and what doesn't) to free up our poor ambos for the real emergencies 🚑💔 #auspol#covid19vic
My @TheNewDailyAu column today: when we start opening up at 56% vaccinated (of the pop) there’ll be 10s of 000s of cases (according to to Doherty). We better not get sick or have an accident, and need a hospital bed.

Peak 2021: working from home with a 14-month-old and paying nearly $100 a day for the pleasure because our centre isn’t waiving gap fees. Happy Monday! #auspol#COVID19Vic
@mariekehardy I heard that a few people reached out to her team for her contact details so they could send her a Providoor voucher and she asked them to donate the money to charity instead 😭❤️
@JennaPrice My sister is a cardiologist and says they’re also investigating whether some COVID-19 patients feel ok from a respiratory perspective so don’t seek help but then die suddenly from a heart arrhythmia… still early days for the research though
@Jess_Rudd Me too 🙋🏽♀️ My Twitter feed is full of American parents terrified about what’s going to happen to their unvaxxed kids when school goes back next month. Many are essentially still living in self-imposed lockdown because everything’s opened up but their kids aren’t protected 😢
Hotels are half empty & the govt wants to win back women with next week’s budget... so how about subsidised hotel stays for mums who need an effing break after WFH and homeschooling for most of 2020?! https://t.co/o1uSh535Nm
