@Dudley4Oregon Chris it’s not just lowering taxes for those making under $100k. The middle class in Multnomah County needs serious tax relief as well. It is past time to seriously look at a flat low income tax for all Oregonians, and passing law for sales tax that tourists will also pay into.

@Heminator They could make more money by lowering it to a flat 3%. Most people would not move assets out of state when they are older (I know many who do or have done this) if the rate was lower. Also $1m is nothing. That’s just hurting the middle class. It needs to be increased to $2m.
