@sen_reform Arrange a meeting with senco and local authority caseworker to look at need and provision asap. Get your Sen parent support on board. Look at school Sen policy and local offer from website ahead of meeting.

@MrsCarrPRUHead I have never witnessed a successful managed move and only seen kids pushed from pillar to post and schools use them for the wrong reasons. That said if the parent/carer and cyp were involved, on board and supported they could work as a fresh start and new opportunity.

@Mom75Spectrum Restraint is always the last resort, ideally recognising triggers and not getting that far is much better, less distress for all. Sensory profile needed first, staff that know his needs the best. Strategies will depend completely on the individual ... Cuddle, time in, time out...
