Here are the 6 levels above you (one tip each):

Quick recap. Level 1 is one sentence in a prompt:
End every prompt with "Ask me questions first."
Claude interviews YOU. You click the answers.
The output gets 10x more personal.

Level 2 → Talk. Don't type.
You type 60 words a minute. You speak 150.
Download Wispr .ai (free). Hold the key. Talk.
Your prompts get longer, richer & take half the time.

Level 3 → Leave the chat.
Get the Claude app → open the "Cowork" tab.
Drop in a messy doc, old proposal, numbers.
Then: "Build a spreadsheet to do [X]. Ask me what you need first." 3 minutes later: a real Excel file.

Level 4 → Connect your apps.
Left sidebar → Customize → Connectors.
Connect Gmail, Calendar, your notetaker (Granola).
Then test it: "Prep me for tomorrow using my emails, calendar, and meeting notes."

Level 5 → Teach it once. Use it forever.
Type /skill-creator and prompt: "Teach Claude to build spreadsheets exactly the way I like them. Ask me questions first."
Answer its questions. Click "Save skill."
Now /[Skill name] works in every future chat.

Level 6 → Master the models.
Use the new Claude Fable 5 for quick 2 prompts.
Switch to Opus 4.8, Effort High, for the heavy work.
The wrong model wastes the exact same prompt.

Level 7 → Vibecode.
Open the </> Code. Turn on "Bypass permissions."
(It's the scary button. All it means is: go, I trust you.)
Then: "Build a page where people book a 30-min call with me. Ask me questions first."
4 mins later, it works. You built software. In English.

Every single level runs on "Ask me questions first."

How to pick the right Claude model (every time):

Step 1: Does your task require a complex answer?

☑️ No: use Haiku 4.5 or Sonnet 5.
☑️ Yes: use Opus 4.8 or Fable 5.

Step 2: If your task is quick:

→ Need maximum speed & minimal tokens?

☑️ Yes: Haiku 4.5 (lightweight, token-saver).
Chat without files. Turn on web search.
Plan in Chat, build in Cowork.

Prompt example:
"I want [desired result] with [constraints]. Ask me questions using AskUserQuestion before you start."

☑️ No: Sonnet 5 (fast, everyday model).
Perfect for simple tasks.
Connect your apps with Connectors: Slack, Google Drive, Notion, Figma, Granola, Gamma + 50 more.

Prompt example:
"You are a [role]. [Task] this [input]. Keep it under [length]. Tone: [casual/formal]. No preamble - just the output."

Step 3: Is this your hardest, most ambitious work?
(multi-step reasoning, agents, long-thinking tasks)

☑️ No: Opus 4.8 (deep-work model).
Use Cowork. Put Effort on High. Always.
Use Skills in Projects (like /linkedin or /excel-style).

Prompt example:
"/[skill] topic: [topic]. DO NOT start yet. Ask me clarifying questions (use AskUserQuestion) so we can refine the approach step by step."

After Cowork:
→ Download your file.
→ Or convert it into a Claude Skill.
→ Start a fresh session to save tokens.

☑️ Yes: Fable 5 (the smartest model by Claude).
Deep research. Analytical decisions.

Prompt example:
"Here is my goal: [goal]. Here are my constraints: [constraints]. Think through the tradeoffs before answering, propose 2–3 approaches, and recommend one with your reasoning."

Too long to write yourself?

Type a messy prompt → get a Fable-worthy prompt.

2. Find the welcome email in your inbox named "Don't lose access to your AI library."
3. Click on the library link.
4. Open the "Claude Skills" folder. Download it all.
5. Upload to Claude → Settings → Skills.

⚠️ But careful with Fable 5:

☑ It costs extra (pay-per-use after July 12th).
☑ Only ~10% of tasks actually need it.
☑ Use it 1-2 turns for strategy, then switch to Opus.
☑ Long conversations = expensive. Claude re-reads the whole thread every turn.

When Opus gets stuck, escalate to Fable.
Everything else, route down the tree.

Anthropic built Fable-5 too smart to waste away.

You have only 3 days to use it (while it's still free).

On July 13, 𝗙𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲-𝟱 leaves your Claude plan.
After that, every single message becomes a bill:

→ 1 quick question = $0.15.
→ 19 long turns = $6.
→ 40 turns = $14 (I tested it, on top of a $100 plan).
→ Why? Claude re-reads the entire chat every time.

So use these 3 days like the top 0.1% will:

SPEND DIFFERENT:
→ Fable-5 for hard goals only. 1–2 turns max.
→ New task = new chat. Non-negotiable.
→ Watch your money: Settings → Usage.

PROMPT DIFFERENT:
→ "I need [task] for [goal]. Ask me questions first."
→ It interviews you BEFORE working.
→ 1 great prompt > 20 lazy ones. Literally, in dollars.

SWITCH DIFFERENT:
→ Fable-5 defines the strategy ($1,000/h lawyer).
→ Opus 4.8 (High) executes it (intern, free in plan).
→ Never pay the lawyer to draft emails.

KEEP DIFFERENT (almost nobody does this):
→ End your best Fable-5 chat with one final ask:
→ "Write my CLAUDE .md - standing instructions every future chat obeys."
→ After July 13, Opus runs those files daily. Free.

Fable-5 is on loan.
Everything it writes for you is yours to keep.
