Meet Sophia, a 22-year-old, geriatric horse.

In December 2025, at the first-ever independent exam of NYC's carriage horses, Dr. Kraig Kulikowski found her unfit for work. She was found to be in pain, with apparent leg issues.

Seven months later, Sophia was spotted limping in Central Park, barely able to walk, her horseshoe falling off. A witness had to step in and demand the driver pull over. She was pulling a carriage full of passengers, creating an incredibly dangerous situation. She could have collapsed, seriously injuring herself, the passengers, the driver, and others in Central Park.

We fear Sophia is still being worked in this condition. That's not acceptable.

So we're making a direct plea to her owner: retire Sophia. A sanctuary is ready and waiting for her, and we are prepared to help cover the costs. She's given enough. She deserves to rest.

Sujeto conocido con el alias de "El Cheto" abusa de un perro en el sector La Carucieña, en Barquisimeto, Edo. Lara.

Según se evidencia en los videos, una mujer enfrenta a un sujeto que fue sorprendido en el acto cuando abusaba de un perro. En el siguiente video, otra persona indica que en horas de la madrugada logró poner al perro en resguardo y que el sujeto estaría siendo buscado por la policía del sector. Según los lugareños, el sujeto ya había abusado de otros canes del sector.

Tyler Muehl was caught on video approaching a sea lion at La Jolla Cove, squaring up like he was entering a UFC fight, and kicking at the defenseless animal four times — connecting at least twice.

And when the sea lion tried to get away? He followed it.

Well… now the federal government is following HIM. 🤷‍♀️

Muehl has pleaded guilty to violating the Marine Mammal Protection Act and faces up to one year in prison and a $100,000 fine. Sentencing is set for October 20.

Imagine potentially getting a federal conviction because you wanted to look tough kicking an animal that was minding its own business.

Hope those few seconds of internet clout were worth it.
